As veteran and owner of a Daily-driven show car, I frequent the University site a lot. At least 3-4 times per week. I get the top tier wash with a veteran's discount. Yes automatic car washes can (but don't always) damage your finish. That is why it is important to use a reputable wash, and maybe do a little extra after. It does not take a lot.
